NASHA perform for the 3rd time at THE HUB, Milford, North Shore. At the end of 2015, Nasha approached the establishment to do a night of Classic Rock and Hits from yesteryear. A complete change from their usual repertoire of Bollywood. The evening was a tremendous success, the band bringing down the house. The owner was bowled over by the band and it's high energy sound and professional approach and immediately booked the band in for another performance in early 2016. Another, engaging performance and the owner "Patch" suggested a regular stint. As Nasha members do a lot of freelance work individually, they offered to play from time to time based on availability.
April 2016, the band decided to take on a gig at the HUB, this time introducing a new face, Amrita Bende D'Souza, a renowned singer from Mumbai, India. She recently moved to the Shore and drummer (Mark) with close links to her Musical family back in Mumbai, invited the dynamic performer to be a guest singer with the band....and it was a treat for THE HUB.. Owner Patch having sold his interest in the pub, continues to manage the place. New owner, Bobby, (of Indian ethnicity), was thrilled to meet the band and seeing the clientele lap up the performance, booked the band to play for their FIRST mid winter Party, (date TBC) for July 2016. The band (with some apprehension) did a special Bollywood song for the new owner in the midst of the Classic Rock performance, but the kiwi patrons loved every minute of it...dancing with much exuberance..
