About Raul
(Vocals)
Raul started his career singing at a very young age at various school and social events leading him to join Mumbai's youngest Rock Group, "WITCHHAMMER" playing at a lot of collegiate festivals in the Country including the prestigious INDEPENDANCE ROCK, which is India's biggest Rock Festival till this day.
While in the Rock Circuit, Raul expanded his versatility by working as a sessions singer in the industry, doing jingles and backgrounds for ad campaigns for both Radio and Television. He also worked or has been associated within many other Musical events with Bollywood singers and persona like Anaida, Suraj Jagan, Mehnaz and Bashir Sheik, to name a few and also done work with some of Bollywood's talented musical directors like Shankar-Ehsaan-Loy (SEL), Ismail Durbar, Jatin Lalit, Shandesh and on hit movies such as Kuch Kuch Hota Hai, Devdas, Salaam-E- Ishq, Dil Chahtha Hai, Kal Ho Na Ho.
Raul also got into Musical Theatre sharing the stage with other notable celebrities like Vishal Dadlani (Vishal-Shekkar fame) and Boman Irani (Bollywood actor)
Raul is a multi lingual singer and offers a lot of versatility and hence was Nasha's first choice as lead singer. He can sing most styles be it Mohammed Rafi to Mika Singh. He felt he was paid the highest compliment, when he was told he even sounded like Shankar Mahadevan....who Raul reveres....it was a tremendous honor for him.
Raul is electrifying on stage, charismatic and a huge thrill to watch...Nasha's frontman with immense talent!!
