Nasha play at the Orewa Boulevard Arts Festival for the first time!!
A year ago the band was featured in a newspaper article in the Rodney District local paper and the local Council picked up on the band's multicultural theme of mixing Bollywood with Western Pop and Kiwi Hits. The band was approached to be a part of this event and a year later, it was a thrilling experience for the band to share this cultural melting pot with a mostly kiwi audience. Thanks to Hellen Wilkins from DESTINATION OREWA BEACH, Pat Shanks from the Rodney District Council and Robin Davies from the Organising Committee for making this possible and inviting us. There were other very talented performers as well, so it was a lovely cultural event for the family.

"You had the crowd rocking and you could certainly have held the audience captivated for substantially longer. The fusion of the English rock and the Bollywood aspects was incredible to see. Well done all of you ! Thanks again Mark and everyone involved. It was certainly a great day !
Hellen Wilkins (DESTINATION OREWA BEACH)

"At the Orewa Boulevard Festival last Saturday we were fortunate to see Nasha The Band perform on the open air stage. A great variety of music from Bruno Mars Uptown Funk to Elvis' Jail House Rock, to which is added some Indian Bollywood Spice and so appeals to all ages. They certainly got us toe tapping...."
