Who doesn't know and/or loves the music of ABBA?!! In May 2018, the idea was floated for NASHA to take on the hits of ABBA and Sammie Campbell and Geena Hutton both in their teens joined the band to front this project. Having a very young generation embrace the music of ABBA was wonderful and they thoroughly enjoyed the experience. Sammie had played the LEAD role in the local Mamma Mia production, while Geena did likewise, playing the LEAD in the Centerstage production of GREASE. Both very talented young girls, they also brought in their mates who took part in these productions to join the team, to do backing vocals and dance sequences. It was a difficult process co ordinating rehearsals with so many involved but we got there in the end. Along the way, NASHA, decided to help fundraise for a local Charity - I have a Dream, NZ who help underprivileged kiwi kids with an education. The name of the charity coincides with an ABBA hit of the same name...so it all came together quite naturally. It was a wonderful vibe to see both the kiwi and the Indian communities sing, dance and have a fun evening together and we have to say "Thank you for the Music" Abba....
